What is the basic principle of rotary hydraulic motor braking?

The basic principle of different braking modes is different, as follows:

1. Choose to use the speed control valve circuit brake: the circuit can complete double braking of the oil motor, and can have an adjustment effect. When the reversing valve responds to the middle position, the oil motor becomes a hydraulic oil pump under the action of inertia. The oil provided by the throttle valve on the high pressure side (for the pump) gives the speed regulating valve, and the relief valve limits the impact working pressure and makes the motor brake. The hydraulic oil pump can be self-priming from the fuel tank by the throttle valve on the low voltage side.


2. Braking with accumulator: the accumulator is placed at the inlet and outlet of the oil motor close to the oil motor, which can complete double braking of the oil motor. When the XWM8 series hydraulic motor reversing valve responds to the middle position, the oil riser of the original motor becomes high pressure because the motor turns into a pump. The accumulator on this side holds the oil discharged by the pump, and the accumulator on the other side of the XWM3 series hydraulic motor can provide oil supplement.

When braking is necessary, the manual reversing valve is placed in the middle position, and the oil in the brake cylinder is discharged back to the oil tank through the throttle valve, so rapid braking can be completed.
